I believe the best portraits come from trust, not rushing -  so our session always starts with a coffee and a chat. I know from being on the other side of the camera how important it is to arrive, settle, and feel comfortable before being asked to be vulnerable. Silence is not my vibe - I work best with music on. We'll go through all your clothes and I'll help style you with the best hand-crafted backdrops I've had specially painted for these sessions.

I shoot on a Netflix-Approved R5C with the latest cinematic glass. Canon’s colour science is trusted across cinema and broadcast for a reason - it renders skin accurately and consistently. I keep post-production minimal so your face, not editing, does the work.

My (Award Winning) approach to direction is intentionally unorthodox. I don’t over-script or force character tropes - instead, I work responsively, throwing ideas into the room and seeing what lands. The goal is collaboration, not performance. The worst that can happen is we try something, hate it and delete it. That freedom is where the strongest work usually comes from.

Stylistically, my work leans away from rigid “character shots” and towards powerful cinematic portraiture - images that feel alive, ultra dimensional and intentional. I focus on capturing not just a physical likeness but a sense of presence.

This approach has resonated strongly with my clients, with consistent feedback that their headshots are helping them secure more auditions and callbacks with many now in leading West End roles, Film and yearly TV contracts.
