SCOTLANDS LEADING SHOWREEL EXPERTS
As one of the first in Scotland to offer this service, our broadcast quality showreel scenes are designed to add to and/or create your reel from scratch to show off your screen acting ability and full emotional range.
We have two bespoke showreel packages to choose from: replenish your reel with our one, two or three scene package or buddy up with two others for our discounted 'Scene Share' package.
Our various leased locations (at no extra cost) are adaptable and beautifully lit which adds drama and realism to your scenes for maximum effect.
Both cinematographers use a variation of industry standard equipment and are versed in high quality sound production using reputable brands such as Sennheiser, RODE, Tiffen, Black Magic and more.

REPLENISH YOUR REEL
*ONE, TWO OR THREE SCENE
ONE SCENE: £250
TWO SCENES: £425
THREE SCENES: £500
* Based on one actor booking and finding their own scene partner. Payment cannot be split between actors as this package is designed to favour the booking client. Both scene and shoot day will prioritise the person booking and be edited in their favour. If your scene partner would like an edit that favours them, they can let us know BEFORE the session so we can ensure enough coverage of them on the day - the cost to them for this would be £150 - this is based on them receiving an edit of the scene whilst not having a say in the character / plot / dialogue that you chose.
Scenes as standard will be 1-1.5 pages of dialogue, which translates to 1 minute - 1 minute 30 seconds of screen time; the perfect size to cut around and fit into your existing showreel.
Script Writing – £25 PER SCENE (Highly Recommended)
We’ll get our professional writers to pen you a bespoke scene designed specifically to showcase your casting.
Because we’re producing and directing the shoot, we know exactly:
-
what works best on camera
-
how to maximise your performance within a short scene
-
the locations available
-
how long the script should be
-
how to create dialogue that feels natural and industry-standard
-
how to ensure your scene edits into a polished showreel clip
Rather than worrying about formatting or structure, you can simply focus on turning up and acting. For just £25, we’ll create a scene tailored to you that gets the very best from the shoot.
If You Choose to Write Your Own Scene
If you’d prefer to provide your own script, that’s absolutely fine. To ensure the day runs smoothly, we ask that you follow these guidelines:
-
Scripts must be submitted at least 14 days before your shoot for review.
-
Scenes must work within our available filming locations and practical production limitations.
-
Scripts should be no longer than 1½ sides of A4.
-
Dialogue should be the main focus. Please keep stage directions to a minimum. NO PROPS/CHOREOGRAPHY
-
We may request changes where necessary to ensure the scene is achievable and provides the strongest possible final edit.
Like a professional film or television production, performances, blocking and camera work are developed collaboratively on the day. Keeping stage directions light allows the director to shape the scene naturally with the actors and adapt to the location.

SCENE SHARE
3 ACTORS, TWO SCENES EACH
Looking to SPLIT THE COST of your scenes?
If you and two others can get together and chip in for your showreel, you'll each walk away with two fully produced scenes for a discounted rate.
*All actors in this package will get 50/50 screen time and a singular edit of each scene with everyone's best takes. An example of scene structure would be:
SCENE 1: Actor A & Actor B
SCENE 2: Actor B & Actor C
SCENE 3: Actor C & Actor A
£285 PER ACTOR
(Saving £140 each
than if you were to book two solo scenes)
We request when paying for this, one person is nominated to transfer the full funds as tracking payments from three people for one project is difficult for us to follow.

FAQ's
How do I book and secure my session?
A) You can book by clicking the BOOK NOW button under any of the packages or you can email us at enquiries@fandmmedia.co.uk and someone will be in touch as soon as possible.
Can I change the date of my session?
A) Yes! If you need to change the date of your showreel, for any reason, we charge a fee of £50. If we have less than 14 days notice, we charge £100 due to location fees and how unlikely it would be to fill the slot again in this timeframe. All bookings made and paid for must be redeemed within 12 months. If you have booked. paid and still haven't organised a date with us; we will require a new booking to be made and a new payment. No refunds are offered for shoots that expire this timeline. Please also see our T&C'S page for more info before booking - paying for a sessions suggests you have read this info and have agreed to these terms.
Can I be involved in the editing process and pick my best takes?
A) Unfortunately not - the editing process starts in the room during your scene being filmed; your DOP will be making notes on any best takes and will have a clear vision of how the full scene will look. The editing process is not a collaboration and you must know that sometimes certain takes will be used for reasons such as: better line delivery, continuity, audio, focus pulling etc... no footage will be reviewed by the actors in question for input due to external factors in edit. Please note, re-edits are not included in your package price.
Can you find actors for me?
A) F&M MEDIA cannot be responsible for sourcing actors for you - please be resourceful and use any facebook groups, twitter or instagram to put out a casting call. If you tag us on instagram @FANDMMEDIA - we will happily repost your casting call but if doing this, please inform your actors to get in touch with you regarding this, not us.
Do you supply costumes on the day?
A) We do not. As these scenes will be contemporary only - please wear or bring any costumes you see fitting for your character.
How long do edits take?
A) We try to be as fast as possible with these but we aim to deliver them within 3 weeks. You can opt for our expedited edit extra after your shoot. Each scene is priced at £100 and this will be delivered to you within 48 hours
Can I have the RAW footage or any bloopers?
A) We do not supply any footage from the day other than your completed edit; we ask that you trust us.
What happens if i'm late for my session?
A) As we are limited with time and lighting, along with multiple bookings across Showreels, Headshots and more in different locations, we allow a 15 minute grace period. If you are going to be longer than this, please let us know as we will need to re-arrange your location and date. As standard it will be a £200 fee to cover our overheads. Please try to make sure you allow yourself plenty of time to get to the session and various back up methods!
